Assignment:
You will return to your Color Groups to analyze specific Constitutional Principles. After closely reading the Constitution for evidence of your assigned principle, your group will create a digital poster using an app within your Teams Channel.
The US Constitution:
The Constitution of the United States established America’s national government and fundamental laws, and guaranteed certain basic rights for its citizens. It was signed on September 17, 1787, by delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. The original structure includes a Preamble, followed by 7 Articles which detail the framework for our government. The Bill of Rights were 10 amendments guaranteeing basic individual protections, such as freedom of speech and religion, that became part of the Constitution in 1791. To date, there are 27 constitutional amendments.

Articles of Confederation Primary Document Analysis:
Each group has been assigned a different primary document from the time period when the Articles of Confederation were in use. Break into your assigned Table Group then read, highlight and annotate the assigned document, then complete the questions in the graphic organizer below the reading.
